Lauren Kolyn is an artist based in Toronto and Montréal, Canada. She has always held curiosity for human behaviour. Lauren’s work highlights how we organize or inhabit space. She has a keen eye for structure and lines of design and interiors as seen in her commercial practice and an environmentally conscious mind as seen in her studies of natural subjects in her landscape and portrait art practice. Lauren has an editorial and documentary style of visual storytelling. This draws on her studies in psychology and professional experience in the social sciences as well as her artistic practices in still image and explorations in moving image film.
